Dr. Carlos Cerri from ESALQ-USP, Piracicaba, and Dr. João Luis Carvalho from CNPEM, Campinas, as well as Dr. Douglas Karlen do USDA were the editors of the special issue of BioEnergy Research “Sustainable Sugarcane Straw: Considerations for Brazilian Bioenergy Production” which has just been published.
This special issue brings several papers by São Paulo researchers supported by FAPESP and represent an important contribution to the advance of bioenergy from sugarcane.
