Dear undergraduate and graduate students,
The Bioenergy Society (SBE) was established in November 2013 with the goal of promoting the sustainable development of bioenergy in Brazil and other countries. One of the key activities of SBE is the organization of the Brazilian Bioenergy Science and Technology Conference (BBEST) every three years.
This October, we will host the 5th BBEST – IEA Bioenergy 2024 Conference, an event co-organized by the International Energy Agency – Bioenergy Division, dedicated to the theme of energy transition. The conference will take place in São Paulo, SP, and more information is available at bbest-ieabioenergy.org.
To encourage students working in bioenergy to participate in the event, the SBE board has decided to waive (20% discount) the registration fee for members who are undergraduate and graduate students and intend to present their work. Important: SBE membership is free!
Important information:
- The student must be a member of SBE and present his(er) work at the event.
- The amount of resources allocated to support students is limited, and requests will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The student must register for the event and contact SBE (sbe.bioenergy@gmail.com), attaching a copy of his(er) work and proof of enrollment in an Undergrad or Graduate Program.
- Supported students will receive a voucher to be used in the event’s registration system.
- SBE support is exclusively for the registration until July 31, 2024 (early registration).
